Heresy

Beware of false doctrine.

THE RESTORATION OF CHRIST (website where I cut this from.)

The Restoration of TruthGod is your Father in Heaven. He knows you personally. Jesus Christ is the Son of God and your Savior. His life and teachings are the way to peace and happiness.

God knows you personally and loves you more than you can comprehend. He wants you to be happy now and always. To accomplish this purpose, Heavenly Father has provided a plan called the gospel of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the Son of God; His teachings are the way to peace in life and joy for eternity.

As part of His plan, God has followed a simple pattern from the beginning of the world. He chooses a prophet (like Noah or Moses) to teach the gospel and lead the people. Sadly, most of God’s children have disregarded, disobeyed, and rejected His prophets.

As promised, Heavenly Father sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to earth. Jesus Christ lived a perfect, sinless life. He established His Church, taught His gospel, and performed many miracles. Incredibly, even Jesus Christ was rejected. Following His death, many people began to drift away from or distort Christ’s true teachings. As a result, God withdrew His authority to direct the Church that Christ had established.

Our loving Father in Heaven is the “same yesterday, and to day, and for ever" (see Hebrews 13:8). As in ancient times, He has followed His simple pattern in our day. He has again established the gospel of Jesus Christ on the earth through a prophet. This prophet whom the Lord called to restore God’s truth is named Joseph Smith. The evidence of this Restoration is found in the Book of Mormon, which you can read, ponder, and pray about.

God continues to speak His words and reveal His truth in our day through a living prophet. If you ask your Heavenly Father in prayer, He can confirm the truth of this to you.

A lot of this is untrue.  This is NOT what the Bible teaches.

Some characteristics of a cult are:
  • Mixing the truth with lies.
  • Using Christian terminology with different definitions.
  • forcing beliefs
  • restricting freedoms
  • bait and switch
I pray for the false churches to be exposed for their lies and for their members eye's to be opened to the lies that they are ignorant to.  I pray for the hearts of all of it's members to be quickened with the truth that God has breathed into His Holy Bible.  I pray for all false religion to be exposed for the untruths that it preaches and for the truth of Jesus Christ to be heard all over the world.

Yahoo! Video

This is an awesome website.  Yahoo! Video

I never knew I had this feature on my Yahoo.  Contemporary Christian Music Videos.  Very cool.  You can pick other music but I'm excited about this one because I have never seen most of the videos for the songs I listen to on KLOVE.  I don't have any TV set up or hooked up excpet for a converter box and rabbit ears and I really don't get but two channels I understand.  Having access to this genre of music is a rare find for me unless I want to search Youtube.  Which I don't if I can have it all right here on this little page on my email provider page.

HOW HE LOVES US

He is jealous for me,

Loves like a hurricane, I am a tree,

Bending beneath the weight of his wind and mercy.

When all of a sudden,

I am unaware of these afflictions eclipsed by glory,

And I realise just how beautiful You are,

And how great Your affections are for me.

And oh, how He loves us so,

Oh how He loves us,

How He loves us all

Yeah, He loves us,

Whoa! how He loves us,

Whoa! how He loves us,

Whoa! how He loves.

Yeah, He loves us,

Whoa! how He loves us,

Whoa! how He loves us,

Whoa! how He loves.

We are His portion and He is our prize,

Drawn to redemption by the grace in His eyes,

If grace is an ocean, we’re all sinking.

So Heaven meets earth like a sloppy wet kiss,

And my heart turns violently inside of my chest,

I don’t have time to maintain these regrets,

When I think about, the way…

He loves us,

Whoa! how He loves us,

Whoa! how He loves us,

Oh how He loves.

Yeah, He loves us,

Whoa! how He loves us,

Whoa! how He loves us,

Whoa! how He loves.

Well, I thought about You the day Stephen died,

And You met me between my breaking.

I know that I still love You, God, despite the agony.

...They want to tell me You're cruel,

But if Stephen could sing, he'd say it's not true, cause...

Cause He loves us, Whoa! how He loves us.

Whoa! how He loves us. Whoa! how He loves.

Yeah, He loves us,

Whoa! how He loves us,

Whoa! how He loves us, Whoa! how He loves.

lay it down

It is so frustrating to try so hard to help someone and for them to not listen. I'm sure my father can relate. When you've come from a bad place you don't want to watch anyone else walk in there. And you want everyone who is in the that bad place to come out. You wanna warn them. You want to counsel them. But they won't listen, just as you wouldn't. Just as I didn't. There's nothing you can do to change someone. They have to want to change. The one thing I have learned is that you can change yourself. And sometimes. That's what the situation needs.

he waits for her to understand
but she won't understand at all
she waits all night for him to call
but he won't call anymore
he waits to hear her say
forgive
but she just drops her pearl-black eyes
and prays to hear him say
i love you
but he tells no more lies
he waits for her to sympathize
but she won't sympathize at all
she waits all night to feel his kiss
but always wakes alone
he waits to hear her say
forget
but she just hangs her head in pain
and prays to hear him say
no more
i'll never leave again
how did we get this far apart?
we used to be so close together
how did we get this far apart?
i thought this love would last forever
he waits for her to understand
but she won't understand at all
she waits all night for him to call
but he won't call
he waits to hear her say
forgive
but she just drops her pearl-black eyes
and prays to hear him say
i love you
but he tells no more lies
how did we get this far apart?
we used to be so close together
how did we get this far apart?
i thought this love would last forever

Take your hands off me, I don't belong to you

Standing at the door of the pink flamingo
Crying in the rain
It was a kind of so so love,
And I'm gonna make sure it doesn't happen again.
You and I had to be the standing joke of the year.

You were a run around,
A lost and found.
And not for me I feel.
Take your hands off me, please.
I don't belong to you, you see.
Take a look in my face, for the last time.
I never knew you, you never knew me.
Say hello, goodbye.
Say hello and wave goodbye.
We tried to make it work, you in a cocktail skirt.
And me in a suit, and it just wasn't me.
You're used to wearing less, and now your life's a mess.
So insecure you seem.
I put up with all the scenes,
This is one scene,
That's goin to be played my way
Take your hands off me, please
I dont belong to you, you see.
Take a look in my face, for the last time.
I never knew you, you never knew me.
Say hello, goodbye.
Say hello and wave goodbye.
Say hello and wave goodbye.
Under the deep red light,
I can see the make up sliding down.
Well hey little girl, you will will always make up
So take off that unbecoming frown.
As for me well, Ill find some one
Who's not going cheap in the sales.
A nice little house wife, who'll give me a steady life.
And not keep going off the rails

Take your hands off me, please
I don't belong to you, you see.
Take a look in my face, for the last time.
I never knew you, you never knew me.
Say hello, goodbye.

Say hello and wave goodbye.
Say hello and wave goodbye.
Say hello and wave goodbye.
Wave goodbye.
Say hello and wave goodbye.
Say hello, wave goodbye.
Goodbye.
Say goodbye.
Say goodbye.
We were born before the wind.
Who were we to understand.
We were born before the wind

Say goodbye.
Through the rain, hail, sleet and snow,
Say good bye.
And Im trying, trying, trying
To say goodbye.
Say goodbye.
Say goodbye.
Say goodbye.
In the wind and the rain my darling.
Say goodbye.

Faye

My grandmother died tonight.
The nicest person I've ever met just left to meet her Creator 15 minutes ago. Praise God for His mercy and grace and that my 83 year old grandmother Faye Hartman had accepted Christ. I mourn with those who mourn here on earth and I rejoice with those of us who know the Lord and His promises of an eternal life in His presence.

She was in no pain. 4 years ago they told her she wouldn't last 6 months with her cancer. 13 days ago the ER said she wouldn't make it through the night. She passed in a state of unresponsiveness for a few days under morphine with little or no pain.

Faye Hartman

SHILOH-Wanda Faye Hartman, 83, of Shiloh passed away at TIME on, DAY & DATE, at NAME OF LOCATION, IE., ROSEWOOD.She was born in Commerce Missouri on June 16, 1926 to Sybil Marie (Smithson) and Herbert Warren. She married George Joseph Hartman on January 1, 1943; he preceded her in death in 1999.She was also preceded in death by her son, Terry Lynn in 1978 at age 27.She is survived by her children Georgia Kent of Chatham, Charlotte Bruce (husband Robert) of Shiloh, and Michael (wife, Billie) of San Antonio, Texas, seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Faye was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church, and a former member of Prospect Park Methodist Church. She was very active in her church until her illness prevented her participation. She was a Sunday School teacher, and a MYF (Methodist Youth Fellowship) leader.

In her youth Faye modeled for Sears catalog; however, her career was a more than 20 year stint with the Red Lobster restaurants. There she started as a server, but quickly worked her way up the ranks to traveling to new restaurants to train personnel prior to opening. She was proud of her articles that were published almost every month in the Red Lobster Tails newsletter.

During her residency in French Village she was a Cub Scout Den Mother and active in the Community Center. When she moved to the Shiloh area she became a member of the Galaxy Twirlers Square Dance club. Many years, dresses, and conventions later, she was instrumental in starting the Cadence Cloggers; a youth group of tap dancing square dancers who are still going strong today.

Some of Faye’s other interests were reading, astrology, studying various religions, biographical information and always, young people. She had a generous nature and wanted nothing more than to help others.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 until 8:00 pm DAY, IE., THURSDAY at Schildknecht Funeral Home located in O’Fallon, Illinois. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m.DAY, with the Rev. Eric M. Hartman of Providence Church in Plano, Texas officiating. Burial will be at Lakeview Cemetery in Fairview Heights, with committal taking place in their Chapel.

...since you have been born again, not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through the living and abiding word of God; for "All flesh is like grass and all its glory like the flowers of grass. The grass withers, and the flower falls, but the word of the Lord remains forever.

"If the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

Yay Lauren!

This is so neat that my church does this. Every year near the end of the school year they present Bibles to the first graders now that they can read. I love that she got a pink one. Lauren is the cutie with pigtails, leggings, glasses, and the purse.

Say Hello Wave Goodbye

Say Hello Wave Goodbye - David Gray

It took me a long time to realize how much power I had given him over me. I'm nobody's property and nobody should lay their hands on me. I'm learning to have boundaries, healthy ones. The kind that let the good in and keep the bad out. Seems simple really but it's amazing how fast we can lose our boundaries and then one day look around and see that we have no boundary lines at all. I still care about what happens to my ex but I never again want to give him or anybody that much control over me. I'm glad that I have such a strong support system with my friends and my church. I suggest reading "Boundaries" by Henry Cloud if you have issues with saying no to people.

Love

By Your Side

Why are you striving these days
Why are you trying to earn grace
Why are you crying
Let me lift up your face
Just don't turn away

Why are you looking for love
Why are you still searching as if I'm not enough
To where will you go child
Tell me where will you run
To where will you run

And I'll be by your side
Wherever you fall
In the dead of night
Whenever you call
And please don't fight
These hands that are holding you
My hands are holding you

Look at these hands and my side
They swallowed the grave on that night
When I drank the world's sin
So I could carry you in
And give you life
I want to give you life

(Chorus 2x)

Cause I, I love you
I want you to know
That I, I love you
I'll never let you go

(Chorus 2x)
